THE LEAGUE OF MERCY

The Master-General, Frà John Baron von Hoff, accompanied by the Grand Treasurer, Dame Grand Cross Pauline Baroness von Hoff, represented the United Grand Priories, at a dinner held in the Armourer’s Hall, City of London, on the occasion of the presentation of a Companion’s Badge of the Order of Mercy to HRH Princess Michael of Kent.
 
The presentation was made by Sir Robert Balchin KStJ GOMLJ DL, President of the League of Mercy, in the presence of HRH Prince Michael of Kent. Amongst the many other distinguished guests present were Lieutenant Colonel Roderick Morriss TD GCLJ KMLJ DL and Consœur Susanna Morriss MLJ, Colonel Alan Roberts KStJ OBE TD CLJ JP DL and Lieutenant Colonel Michael Neville MLJ, all members of the Grand Priory.
 
It was a truly magnificent event, held in beautiful surroundings, and a great credit to Sir Robert, Patron of the Saint Lazarus Hospice Association.
